A unique mix of Caribbean, Creole and Southern foods is now open in the Highlands.
Flavour celebrated its grand opening on Friday, May 11.
The new spot is owned by four local entrepreneurs who have extensive experience in the city’s entertainment business, and that definitely shows in the design of the dining room, bar and lounge areas.
Doug Bibby, Steve Pennington, Elliot Horne and Clarence Benboe have created a modern space that’s just as welcoming as it is cool and trendy.
The menu was created by Kennedy “China Man” Thomas, who is originally from Trinidad. Thomas is bringing a variety of cultural influences together with items like conch fritters, crawfish etouffee, oxtails and southern-style macaroni & cheese. Not only is the bar a beautiful place to hang out with friends… it also boasts a great selection of signature cocktails. And, the lounge seating provides a more relaxed experience as well.
One of the best things about Flavour is it’s pricing. Menu items range from $5-$12. You can’t beat that!
We expect this place to become a new hot spot for millennials and young professionals.
