Abbey Road on the River
WAVE 3 News Abbey Road on the River is a must-see for any Beatles fan. The five-day festival has concerts including the LOVE album start-to-finish, and a 50th anniversary of the White Album. It’s held in Jeffersonville, Indiana at the Big Four Station Park.
Kentucky Reggae Festival
Reggae Festival takes over Water Tower Park each May,bringing with it Carribean sounds and flavors. The weekend is full of reggae acts such as PMA, Warrior King and DJ Mixa. There’s also special cocktails and dishes available, including authentic jerk chicken.
Louisville Tango Festival
The Louisville Tango Festival brings Bueos Aires to Louisville with a weekend of music and dancing. The event is Gret Gatsby themed, with attendees and dancers encouraged to dress in 1920’s style. It’s held at the Seelbach Hotel in Downtown Louisville.

Poorcastle Festival is a nonprofit music festival fundraiser celebrating Louisville’s flourishing community with all-local bands, vendors, food trucks, artists, and craft beer. All proceeds benefit 100.9 WCHQ FM, Musicians Emergency Resource Fund and AMPED. Greg Bryant Foundation benefits Louisville Leopard Percussionists.
Louisville’s annual Forecastle on the Waterfront yet again has assembled an all-star lineup of musicians. Chris Stapleton leads the list, and is joined by Arcade Fire, Modest Mouse, Vance Joy and many more. Forecastle is built on the foundation of Music, Art and Activism.
Bourbon & Beyond
2018 is the second year for Louisville’s unique festival that fuses music, food and bourbon in a way only Kentucky can. Headliners for this year’s Bourbon & Beyond include John Mayer, Sting, Lenny Kravitz, David Byrne and Robert Plant and the Sensational Shape Shifters.
