The Seven Sense Music Festival was going strong at Gravely Brewing on Friday night.
The festival runs this weekend and features 40 regional and local bands, including Louisville’s Curio Key Club and the Whigs (from Athens, Georgia).
Tickets range from $10-$25. Proceeds benefit Girls Rock Louisville, a local nonprofit.
Bell’s Brewing has brought in some exclusive craft beers and Heaven Hill is serving up cocktails.
Mayan Cafe and Momma’s Mustard, Pickle & BBQ are supplying the food.
There’ll also be arts and crafts, visual art performances and yoga.
Organizers said it’s all about showing what the region has to offer.
“We just want to get it all in one place for a weekend, charge a cheap ticket price and have people come out and experience it all,” Seven Sense Festival organizer Hunter Embry said.
The two-day event has drawn more than 20,000 festivalgoers since it began and benefits local charities.
The music goes through 2 a.m. Saturday. The festival picks back up again tomorrow at noon and the music continues until 2 a.m. Sunday morning.
