Trevor Noah show at Louisville Palace postponed due to illness

Bruised vocal cords have led comedian Trevor Noah to cancel all of his scheduled stand up performances for the remainder of the year.

“The Daily Show” host made the announcement regarding the cancellations on Tuesday. Noah said he believed his vocal cords were healed but his doctor advised otherwise, encouraging him to take some time to heal.

Noah was scheduled to perform at the Louisville Palace on Friday December 7.

The Palace said via their Facebook page that tickets to the now postponed show will be honored for the new show date, which is set to be announced soon.

Noah became the host of the Daily Show in 2015, succeeding Jon Stewart. Other shows canceled include stops in San Diego, CA, Northfield, OH and Dekalb, IL.
