2020 St. James Art Show canceled

Calling it a decision made “out of an abundance of caution,” organizers of the St. James Court Art Show have canceled the 2020 event.

Howard Rosenberg, the show’s executive director, said the decision was not made lightly and was done in support of efforts to lessen the spread of COVID-19.

The annual art show, held the first weekend of October, normally draws crowds of more than 250,000 visitors over the three days to view the works of 600+ artists.

Rosenberg said artists booked for the 2020 show, which was to be held October 2-4, are automatically invited to exhibit at next year’s show, scheduled for October 1, 2 & 3, 2021.
