The top 4 finalists have been named in this year’s 10th Annual Derby Burger Challenge. More than 6,000 people have voted in this year’s delicious competition, sponsored by the Kentucky Beef Council.
This year’s finalists include:
- Brian Capps of Louisville, with the Bourbon Blueberry & Brie Bacon Cheeseburger
- Charli McIlvain of Lexington, with the Hall’s Original Beer Cheese “Dirty” Burger
- Dallas McGarity of Louisville, with the Double Smashburger on Brioche Bun with Tasty Pickles
- Timothy Armistead of Louisville, with the Elote (Mexican Street Corn) Burger

You can vote now through Sunday, March 28.
The winning burger will be featured in Louisville-area Kroger stores beginning April 21. Recipe cards will be available so you can make the winning dish at home. And the chef who came up with the top burger will get an official 2021 KDF Framed Poster, a $100 gift certificate and grilling package from to Kroger, and a local brewery tour for two.
