Another headlining band scheduled to perform in Louisville’s Louder than Life music festival has dropped out.

Mudvayne will no longer be performing Sunday after lead singer Chad Gray and several staff members have tested positive for COVID-19, according to Louder than Life’s Twitter.

“The safety of our organization, fans and festival partners must come first,” the band mentioned in a social media post. “We are left no choice but to cancel our performance at Louder than Life this weekend.”

Mudvayne is the third act to drop from the Louder than Life music festival. Nine Inch Nails dropped out in August and Snoop Dogg announced Wednesday all his remaining 2021 appearances were canceled due to an increase in COVID cases.

Louder than Life announced Mudvayne will be replaced on Sunday with Breaking Benjamin.
