Louisville Zombie Attack returns after two-year hiatus

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (DERBY CITY WEEKEND) - After two years, one of Louisville’s largest gatherings of the undead returns.

The 17th annual Louisville Zombie Attack will take place at Fourth Street Live on Aug. 27 starting at 3 p.m. The event will feature musical guests, vendors, activities and more.

This year, event organizers are looking to break the Guinness World Record for “Largest Gathering of People Dressed as Zombies.” The current record stands at 15,548 people.

Louisville Zombie Attack is also partnering with The Pete Foundation, who will provide resources and spread awareness of youth mental health.
