LOUISVILLE, Ky. (DERBY CITY WEEKEND) - A fall-time tradition is making its way back to Iroquois Park for its tenth straight year.
The Louisville Jack O’Lantern Spectacular is scheduled to return from Oct. 4 through Oct. 31, according to the event’s website.
More than 5,000 artistically carved pumpkins will be displayed on a walking trail through Iroquois Park, with proceeds from the event benefiting the nonprofit Parks Alliance of Louisville.
This year, the Louisville Jack O’Lantern Spectacular will be hosting a Pre-Lit Bash on Oct. 4, offering food and beverages along with a visit through the trail without waiting in line.
The event runs Sundays through Thursdays from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Tickets go on sale on Sept. 1 at the Iroquois Amphitheatre box office or online.
