Halloween Balloon Glow moves to Lynn Family Stadium

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (DERBY CITY WEEKEND) - One of Louisville’s Ultimate Halloween Festival signature events will have a new home this year.

The Louisville Halloween Balloon Glow event will be taking place at Lynn Family Stadium on Oct. 27 and Oct. 28, according to a release.

Event organizers said the balloon glow is moving from Pope Lick Park to the stadium thanks to a partnership with Louisville City FC and Racing Louisville FC.

From 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., 10 hot air balloons will be on site providing trick-or-treating opportunities.

Tethered hot-air balloon rides will be offered for an additional fee, and one hot-air balloon will be set up for commemorative photos.

In addition to trick-or-treating, the event will feature music performances, vendors, food and more.

“We are thrilled to have partnered with Lynn Family Stadium to kick off an epic Halloween weekend with an event unlike any other,” Louisville Halloween’s Michael Book said in a release. “The event will offer a variety of entertainment for the entire family including Louisville’s only trick-or-treat attraction featuring hot air balloons.”

Tickets are $15 per person and are now on sale at seatgeek.com. Kids ages 2 and under are free.
