Frankfort Avenue rings in the holidays at ‘FaLaLa on Frankfort’

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (DERBY CITY WEEKEND) - Holiday festivities are set to begin on Frankfort Avenue on Saturday, bringing local vendors, special events and more.

FaLaLa on Frankfort begins at 9 a.m. and runs all day at various shops and locations, according to a release.

A Holiday Bazaar featuring local craft vendors is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at St. Marks Episcopal and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Crescent Hill United Methodist Church.

From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Santa will show up for photos in the courtyard at Kennedy and Frankfort outside of Peacock Boutique.

The Barrett Traditional Middle School Step Team will be performing at 1 p.m. in the Wesley Room at the United Crescent Methodist Hill Church.

From 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., there will be a dog walk with Santa and pet contest at Urban Village Veterinary Care and ending at Crescent Animal Hospital.

There will also be specials at Frankfort Avenue Liquors and live music with the Allen Lane Duo from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The release states the business with the best holiday display will be given the Golden Antler Award, and carols will be performed by the Clifton Baptist Choir.
