Louisville Arcade Expo returns for 12th year of retro gaming fun

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (DERBY CITY WEEKEND) - Fans of retro video games, pinball, arcade games and more will be able to play their hearts out as Louisville Arcade Expo returns for its 12th year.

The event runs March 10 through March 12 at Triple Crown Pavilion, according to the event’s website.

Everything from the Nintendo Entertainment System to the Xbox 360 will be on display for free play and competition, as well as pinball and arcade systems with no quarters necessary.

In addition, local vendors will have classic video games and memorabilia available for purchase.

This year’s special guests include YouTuber John Riggs, a retro video game reviewer who also repairs broken games; Tim Kitzrow, the voice of NBA Jam, and YouTuber Phoenix Resale, a collector who purchases and resells used video games.

Tickets are on sale now, starting at $20 for adult tickets and $15 for youth tickets age 11-17.
