LouCity’s international friendly against Cancún F.C. postponed

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - The Louisville City FC international friendly against Cancún F.C. has been postponed due to an “unforeseen circumstance.”

According to an update from LouCity, the game will now be on Tuesday, Sept. 10 at 7:30 p.m. at Lynn Family Stadium.

It was originally going to happen this Saturday, so anyone with a ticket to this game can now attend the match in September.

“This is certainly disappointing, and we apologize for the inconvenience rescheduling the game causes,” LouCity president James O’Connor said . “We were tracking to have a nice crowd this weekend and hope most fans can still make it out September 10 as we host a high-level game against the Liga de Expansión MX champs.”
