LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - The nation’s first music festival with a dedicated focus on mental health is making its return to Louisville this summer.

The Big Stomp will be held at the Brown-Forman Amphitheater, located on the east side of Waterfront Park, from July 26-27.

“We are really excited for the opportunity to partner with Waterfront Park, and the venue change will not impact this year’s dates, lineup or opportunity to participate in our many unique mental health activations to help “Stomp the Stigma,” Molly Jones, COO of The Pete Foundation, said.

The Big Stomp will feature more than 30 acts across three stages including headliners BADBADNOTGOOD, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, The Black Angels and Bully. Additional artists recently added to the lineup include J.Roddy Walston and Grammy Nominated Poetic Voice Artist Sekou Andrews.

Now in its eighth year, The Big Stomp began as an annual outreach event for The Pete Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to destigmatizing mental health and expanding access to mental health crisis intervention, the release said. The festival aims to create an immersive community experience geared toward fostering a more open and thoughtful conversation around mental health. Fans will be able to enjoy two days of live music, local food and drinks, while having the opportunity to learn about healthy habits, practices, and mindfulness through various activities.

Two-day weekend passes start at $79.00, and youth passes (Ages 0-14 years) are free with a paid adult pass. Big Bundle VIP weekend pass is $220. There is limited on-site parking at and around the Waterfront Park area. More information on parking will be available online and sent out to ticket holders prior to the event.
