Jack O’Lantern Spectacular back in Louisville for 12th season

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Tickets for the 12th annual Jack O’Lantern Spectacular at Iroquois Park go on sale Friday, August 30.

The popular Halloween-themed event has become an annual tradition for Louisvillians and visitors, welcoming more than 110,000 visitors in 2023.

This year’s Jack O’Lantern Spectacular will run from Oct. 1 - Nov. 2. This year’s theme is “Trivia Night: Pumpkin Edition,” and will test guest’s knowledge as they still through the woods, lined with thousands of carved and locally sourced pumpkins. Guests will be quizzed on art history, music, folklore, and more, a news release said.

“Not only is this an organic art experience in the historic woods of Iroquois Park, but your ticket supports the Parks Alliance and enhances our public parks,” said Brooke Pardue, President/CEO of the Parks Alliance of Louisville. “This event enables us to improve the health and wellbeing of our entire community through projects such as Parks For All, Alberta O. Jones Park, and many more.”
