LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Famous for being the first music festival in the country to focus on mental health, The Big Stomp will take place on July 25 and 26 at Waterfront Park around the Brown-Foreman Amphitheater. The expanded event boasts two stages and 12 acts including headliners Murder by Death and The Record Company.

Now in its ninth year, The Big Stomp found its roots as an annual outreach for The Pete Foundation dedicated to destigmatizing and increasing access to mental health crisis intervention. Though music is at the forefront of the festival’s identity, The Big Stomp prides itself as a much more immersive community experience that fosters an open and thoughtful conversation around mental health by merging entertainment with education.
While enjoying two days of live music and local food and beverage, attendees will have the chance to learn about healthy habits, practices and mindfulness through sponsored activities. These include a Nutrition Nook, Coloring Wall, mocktail saloon and goat therapy.
