LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Preparations are almost complete for Sunday’s Zoeller Pump Company Pegasus Parade.
The Louisville Parks and Recreation float features horses having fun on playground equipment, one of the many features that Louisville parks offer around the city.
Sarah Zimmerman, one of the artists helping create the float said it’s a relief to have it done, but she’s already planning for next year.
“I’m feeling also some excitement to be able to show it because it’s one thing to make the work, but then it’s another thing to show it,” she said. “Also, maybe this is natural as an artist, I’m always thinking of ways to improve. I’m thinking ‘Okay, this is what I want to do next year.’”
The Pegasus Parade is set to begin at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 27. WAVE is your home for the parade, but there is a big change this year.
