Organizers of the Bourbon Classic have postponed the yearly event from its planned February 2021 dates to Nov. 3 – 6.
“We look forward to celebrating nine years of Bourbon Classic in 2021. Each year the event continues to grow, reaching more and more Bourbon enthusiasts. We could not be more grateful for the tremendous support we have received,” co-founder Tony Butler said.
Butler founded the Bourbon Classic with Justin Thompson and Seth Thompson of the Bourbon Review.
Guests will be able to taste more than 80 bourbons and dozens of unique bourbon cocktails. Paired small dishes will be prepared and served by renowned local chefs, including Chef Andrew McCabe of bar Vetti, Chef Levon Wallace of Silver Dollar, Chef Jonathan Searle of Proof on Main and Lexington-based Chef Samantha Fore of Tuk Tuk Sri Lankan Bites.
“The Bourbon lifestyle has become a phenomenon across the country and we are lucky enough to reside in the center of the Bourbon world where we can share the cocktails and culinary masterpieces, Bourbon tastings and educational sessions that can only happen here in Kentucky,” Butler said.
The ninth annual celebration of bourbon, cocktails and cuisine in Louisville is set to take place at a new venue next year as well on its Friday and Saturday dates — Slugger Field.
