Brunch by the Bridge, Fridays at the Front announced as new waterfront events in Louisville

Live events are now back at Waterfront Park, and two new monthly event series are set to begin this spring. The events are a pop-up food truck experience to give visitors new ways to enjoy the park.

Starting this week, guests can enjoy the first ‘Fridays at the Front’ on April 16 — a way to celebrate the end of a long week.

“With food and plenty of green space to enjoy, this event is perfect for all ages to kick off the weekend at the Waterfront Park!” Ashley Smith with Waterfront Park said in a statement.

Relax with a yoga session this Friday from 6-6:45 p.m. during the event.

The Tim Whalen Trio will provide the music, which starts at 5:30 p.m.

If Fridays aren’t possible, prepare for a new week at ‘Brunch by the Bridge’ on Sundays, when there will be live music, food trucks, a champagne bar, and vendors at the park; it kicks off this weekend as well on April 18.

“Bring your friends, a blanket, and an appetite and brunch with us on the Big Four Lawn,” Smith said.

Additional vendors on Sunday include a Little Lou Flower Truck, a Plan Your Picnic, Board and You Charcuterie Boards, and several other Big Four Arts Festival artists.
