A new restaurant is coming to the Highlands and designs show something the city has never seen.
Goodfellas Pizza, which currently has locations in Indianapolis, Lexington, Cincinnati and Bloomington, is set to sit at the corner of Broadway and Baxter. That’s where a new apartment development recently replaced Phoenix Hill Tavern.
Renderings were recently submitted to the city. They show a two-story restaurant and bar with an outdoor beer garden and bocce ball court.
Plans also show a craft ice cream shop on the first floor – which would be Crank and Boom.
The second floor would have a bowling alley, arcade, billiards and darts.
The project is awaiting zoning approval.
