A Louisville group is paying respects to The Greatest of All Time with a new documentary. The team has created a movie that pays tribute to Muhammad Ali called “The Greatest Day.”
A description on All Events states the film is about Louisvillians who grew up with Ali.
It debuts this weekend, and the Louisville national director for the Service for Peace confirms Ali’s brother, Rahman Ali, will be there.
The director of “The Greatest Day” also wrote the documentary but told WAVE 3 News its creation was a team effort.
“We’ve got a wonderful team,” Jeremiah Wong said. “I’m writing and directing a movie, surrounded by a great group of people.”
“The Greatest Day” premieres Saturday, Jan. 11 at the Village 8 Theatres in St. Matthews at noon. Other showtimes are available.
