The Big Four Burgers restaurant chain in southern Indiana has a new concept – and a new owner.
The business has been purchased by Andrew Cox, a New Albany native with a nationwide career in hospitality. Cox will reopen the restaurants as Big Four Brewhouse, serving food and drinks in a family-friendly sports bar atmosphere.

Next door to the New Albany location, Cox has launched Cox’s Hot Chicken. The spot occupies the former building of District 22 on E Main Street downtown. The restaurant has been serving up sides and chicken – ranging in heat levels from Fried Gold to Holy Cluck – since early November.
Big Four Brewhouse is set to open November 18.
