With the first half of 2019 being over, don’t let that New Year’s resolution slip through the cracks.
The KFC Yum! Center will host free Fit Tuesday exercise classes throughout the summer.
Every Tuesday, starting June 11 and ending August 6, the classes will be outside on the arena’s Norton Healthcare Plaza at 5:45 p.m.
Each class will last 45 minutes to an hour, where participants will be taught by certified fitness instructors from the YMCA.
Anyone, no matter the age or fitness level, is welcome to come. Advanced registration is not required.
It is recommended that participants bring an exercise mat and water bottle, but don’t worry about bringing equipment.
With a variety of classes, it’s hard to not go every week.

- June 11 – Dance Fitness
- June 18 – ReFit
- June 25 – Zumba
- July 2 – Yoga
- July 9 – U-Jam
- July 16 – Barreless Barre
- July 23 – Barreless Barre
- July 30 – Zumba
- August 6 – Rev + Flo by ReFit

The classes are in partnership with YMCA of Greater Louisville, American Heart Association and iHeart Louisville’s WGLX, WNRW and WTFX.
To kick off the summer exercise series, there was a free health fair on Tuesday. The fair provided free blood pressure, blood sugar and HIV screenings, hands only CPR demonstrations, and education on cancer prevention, healthy hydration, heart health and more.
