Girl Scouts to hold drive-thru fall product parade rallies

The Girl Scouts are changing thins up, in light of the coronavirus pandemic.

Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana will be hosting a series of “drive-through” Fall Product Parade Rallies around the area. This is a chance for Girl Scout families to come and get excited about our Fall Product Program, where girls customize their own online stores to sell nuts, candies and magazine subscriptions. Fall Product is the first part of the Girl Scout Entrepreneurial Programs and precedes the world famous cookie program that begins in December.

The drive-through events will be held at the following locations:

September 13 Louisville GSK Office, (2115 Lexington Road) 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m

September 17, Salem Middle School, Indiana, 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

September 19, Hebron Middle School, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

September 19, Elizabethtown, Towne Mall Parking Lot, 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

September 26, Paducah, 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. CDT; Cape Electric September 26; Camp Pennyroyal, 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. CDT October 3; Bowling Green, Atmos Energy Parking Lot, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. CDT

The program runs through November 30th. Girl Scouts will learn about goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills and business ethics along with using new tools to market to customers online.
