The Louisville native is working to help the community

LA Rams offensive lineman Jamon Brown is hosting a charity golf scramble to help one of the city’s most disadvantaged populations.

On April 9, Jamon and other celebrity athletes will tee off at Lake Forest Country Club to raise money for the Coalition for the Homeless.

Mayor Greg Fischer will kick off the event, followed by a meet-and-greet with the players.

Some of the athletes playing in the golf scramble include Russ Smith, Luke Hancock, Jared Lorenzen, Chris Redman and Jack “Goose” Givens. Legendary UofL coach Denny Crum will also be participating.
