JCPS, StageOne pair up to provide virtual productions for kids

Jefferson County Public Schools is partnering with StageOne Louisville to bring original live virtual production to students at home.

Theatre for Everywhere, StageOne’s latest initiative, will provide a way for children to view three original plays that address the social and emotional needs of elementary students without the need for a live, in-person audience.

The plays will be performed by nine actors from across the city, including student actors from the University of Louisville’s African-American Theatre Program, StageOne alumni actors, and members of the StageOne Education team.

Shows will be available to JCPS elementary schools by Friday, Nov. 13.
