Kentucky Opera previews upcoming season with concert in Willow Park

The Kentucky Opera is about to start their new season and is inviting the public to an outdoor preview concert.

The Opera in the Park concert will be held on August 24 at 7 PM at Willow Park in the Highlands.

Get there early and don’t forget to bring a blanket or chair. Atria will offer picnic-style food to attendees while the Louisville Water Company provides fill and chill water stations.

Kentucky Opera’s Studio artists will preview songs from the upcoming Brown-Forman 2018/19 season at the Brown Theatre. Some of the songs that will be sampled include those from Mozart’s The Magic Flute, Ben Moore’s Enemies, A Love Story and Verdi’s Rigoletto.
