It’s that time of year again.
The Kentucky State Fair is bringing thousands to Louisville. And as the weekend continues, the temperature will rise.
Inside Freedom Hall, more than 1 million square feet of air-conditioned space will help keep you cool, and you can walk from one end of the fair to the other by walking through the building.
People have been finding little bits of shade wherever they can.
Linda Saling and her sister Terri prepped the night before for a day at the fair with their kids.
“We had planned on coming early with the two little ones,” Saling said. “We have a 1-year-old and an almost 2-year-old and we froze drinks and we have lots of water and we did all of our outdoor activities early so we could enjoy the dog show and now we’re going inside.”
If you don’t want to buy water once you get there, there are water fountains inside Freedom Hall.
