Last Waterfront Wednesday of season to go on despite rain

Heavy rain can’t stop all your outdoor plans in Louisville!

WFPK’s Waterfront Wednesday, scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 26, will go on as planned.

The free outdoor concert happens on the Big Four Bridge Lawn at Waterfront Park.

Event officials say the lawn is well above the forecasted crest of the Ohio River. They plan to move “heavy infrastructure” off the grass to protect the lawn. As of Tuesday afternoon, the lawn is in good shape.
