The creator of one of Louisville’s most popular and quirkiest festivals is at it again.
Will Russell, founder of Lebowski Fest, announced plans for a new festival in Louisville, this one around another cult–classic film.
According to a report from EW, Caddyshack Fest will take place at a golf course in Louisville.
Russell said it will include events such as golf cart races, costume contests and a dance party.
No date has been set, but Russell noted a new connection in Louisville he hopes will bring one of the film’s stars to town.
Luke Murray, son of Bill Murray, was named an assistant basketball coach at the University of Louisville just months ago, when Chris Mack took over.
Russell noted that connection, saying Bill Murray was ‘the dream guest’ for the festival.
Fans of Carl the Greenskeeper and the rest of the Bushwood Country Club gang will have to stay tuned for further details about the festival, including date and location.
