LEGO: Just in time for the holidays, major retailer to open at Oxmoor Center

LEGO, the popular toy store that teaches children how to build, has plans to open a new store in Louisville in November.

The store will open its first Kentucky location at Oxmoor Center on Louisville’s east side, according to the LEGO website.

An exact open date wasn’t listed, but the careers page on the LEGO site lists two openings at the Oxmoor location — a retail assistant store manager and a seasonal sales associate.

LEGO is headquartered in Denmark, but boasts more stores in America than in any other country — 84 are currently open with plans for 15 more in the works, including the Oxmoor store. Other stores in the region are in Cincinnati, Indianapolis and Nashville.
