Lexington pizza place, ice cream store plan to open in Louisville

This rendering was part of a proposal sent to the city.

Two popular Lexington brands are coming to Louisville.

Goodfellas Pizzeria and Crank & Boom ice cream are both part of a proposal submitted to the City of Louisville for the now-vacant property in on east Broadway.

If approved, the stores would be located in the 1500 block of East Broadway, which is currently a site which used to house a gas station.

Goodfellas Pizzeria is widely popular in Lexington, Cincinnati and Indianapolis featuring New York style pies, such as the Don and the Taste of Naples. Goodfellas also had oven baked subs named after the likes of Robert DeNiro, Dean Martin, Al Pacino and Frank Sinatra. And don’t forget the cannoli!

Crank & Boom is known for its great flavors, and boozy ice cream . Recently they featured a Chocolate PB Bacon Donut Ice Cream Burger, giving fans an example of how wild their concoctions can get.

Countdown to Halfway to Lexington Burger Week 2019 !!! This gem is coming back. When we run out, we'll be out, so make plans to grab one!
