Liege & Daily Ice Cream + Waffles teamed up with hip-hop artist Bblasian to create a signature flavor.
Bblasian is a regular customer at the Louisville-based ice cream shop and loves to mix the Banaza ice cream with Oreo toppings. So they made it official.
A small batch of the new flavor, Bban-Oreo, was made and will be available at Liege & Dairy’s Shelbyville Road location while supplies last.
Proceeds from the Bban-Oreo sales will be donated to Hip-Hop Cares, a local organization that provides, food, supplies and services for the homeless. Hip-Hop Cares is a cause close to Bblasian’s heart, as he and his family volunteer with the homeless in Louisville regularly.
To help kick off sales, Bblasian is hosting a meet & greet event for his fans Saturday, June 15 from 2-5 p.m. He will be signing autographs, handing out swag and playing some of his new, unreleased music. The first 100 fans will get a taste of Bban-Oreo for free.
The It’s All Love Podcast will be recording an episode at the event. The founder of the podcast, Warren Winburn, brought Bblasian and Liege & Dairy owner Andrew Llewellyn together for the ice cream project.
Bblasian recently signed a new recording deal with New York-based Cinematic Records.
He will be performing live at Forecastle Festival on Saturday, June 15 at 1:30 p.m.
