It’s lights, camera, action for a Louisville neighborhood this week.
Lake Forest transformed into Hollywood, as Stargazer Films shoots its latest thriller there.
The movie is called “The Danger of Positive Thinking.”
Thursday’s shoot took place at the home of Brown-Forman’s Chief Entertaining Officer Tim Laird.
The actors are giving Louisville rave reviews.
“I love it here,” said Nicky Whelan. “This is my second time. I did another movie here a couple of years ago. I love this town. It’s beautiful. The food, the people. I always have a really good time coming here.”
Added Jesse Hutch: “Everyone’s like super kind. They’re just well-mannered. They help me out … directions. Everything’s been great.”
Stargazer has been casting locals as extras for the film; there were about 75 on set Thursday.
Whelan, by the way, is married to former UofL football star and NFL player Kerry Rhodes, who is also trying to make a go of it in Hollywood now.
