Louisville Slugger makes pink bats for MLB players for Mother’s Day

Louisville Slugger Factory workers put their woodworking skills on display Monday as they made pink bats for Major League Baseball teams; Louisville Slugger is the official baseball bat of MLB.

It’s part of the “Going to Bat Against Breast Cancer” initiative.

This is the 15th year players will use the bats in their games on Mother’s Day. No games were played on Mother’s Day last year due to the pandemic.

People can buy their own personalized pink bat, and $10 from each bat sold will go to charities for cancer research. Bats can be bought on sluggercustombats.com and MLB.com.
