Louisville’s first dog park bar opens

People can now bring their dogs with them to relax and grab a drink in Louisville.

PG&J’s Dog Park Bar is just off Baxter Avenue, near Cherokee Road.

The full dog park has a bar that services coffee, beer, wine and cocktails.

People who want to bring their pet will have to sign a waiver saying their dog is over 4 months old, has all their vaccinations and are spayed or neutered.

Money spent at the park will help give back to local shelters.

PG&J’s Dog Park Bar owner Gina Nobles said, “We have a giving component to our business model we support five local rescue organizations and we donate a portion of our sales to these organizations, so every dollar that you spend here literally goes to saving lives.”

People can come in just by showing up or by setting up an appointment online. With online appointments, waivers can be filled out before heading in.
