The Red Pill Blues Tour comes to the KFC Yum! Center on Saturday, September 22 with special guest Julia Michaels.
The tour is in conjunction with the release of their latest studio album “Red Pill Blues”.
Maroon 5’s album Songs About Jane propelled them into superstardom when the song “Harder to Breathe” became a radio hit in 2002. Their follow up single “This Love” cemented their place in the music industry in 2004 when it peaked at number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100. The live version of the song won them their second Grammy in 2006 in the Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals category. Since then they’ve had a long list of hits including “Sunday Morning”, “Moves Like Jagger”, “Payphone”, “One More Night,” “Wake Up Call”, “Animals”, and “Love Somebody”.
Their most recent and sixth studio album features the chart-toppers “What Lovers Do”, “Wait”, and “Girls Like You” which features rapper Cardi B. The album debuted in November 2017 at number two on the Billboard 200.
Maroon 5 has won three Grammy Awards, four Billboard Music Awards and three American Music Awards.
