McDonald’s is hoping to make educators days a little brighter by offering a free breakfast “Thank You Meal.”

Teachers, administrators and school staff can head to participating McDonald’s from October 11 through 15 and show a valid work ID for a free breakfast meal.

McDonald’s said the meals will be served in a classic Happy Meal box. Meals come with an Egg McMuffin, Bacon, Egg and Cheese Biscuit, or a Sausage Biscuit with hash browns and a drink.

“Together with our Owner/Operators, we’re proud to serve the people who make our communities a better place, and this is an important time to say thank you to some of our everyday heroes,” Joe Erlinger, President of McDonald’s USA said in a release.

The restaurant chain has supported educators in the past by organizing food drops at educators homes and providing free meals during the pandemic.

McDonald’s also asks others to join in to show their appreciation for educators and teachers by sharing messages using #ThankYouMeal on TikTok, Twitter or Instagram.
