Indiana Department of Natural Resources
All veterans and active-duty military personnel, and everyone in their vehicle will be admitted free to all DNR state parks, reservoir properties, state forest recreation areas and state off-road vehicle riding areas on Sunday, Nov. 11 with valid ID. Falls of the Ohio State Park will only be open Veterans Day afternoon so the park will offer free admission to the Interpretive Center on both Sunday, Nov. 11 and Monday, Nov. 12.
HopCat’s locations in Louisville and Lexington will offer a free meal and soft drink to any veteran or active-duty military service member.
A military ID or proof of service required. No additional purchase is necessary but the deal is dine-in only; limit one complimentary meal per guest.
Active members or veterans of the military can enjoy a day at the races at Churchill Downs. military members will receive a free general admission or a discounted ticket ($29) to the Millionaires Row dining room with a valid military ID.
Gates open on November 11 at 11:30 AM with races starting at 1 PM.
National Corvette Museum
The National Corvette Museum is celebrating the armed forces throughout the month of November. The museum is offering free admission to all military veterans, police, firefighters and their immediate families all month long. A valid proof of service must be provided.
On Thursday, November 8, the Museum and NCM Motorsports Park will recognize veterans and wounded warriors as a part of their 10th Annual Vets ‘n Vettes event. Veterans can stop by the NCM Motorsports Park for complimentary rides around the track in Corvettes from 9 AM to 3 PM CST. A Veterans luncheon will be held from 11:30 AM to 1 PM in the track’s garages. Lunch will be free for veterans and their guest/spouse.
On Sunday, November 11 and Monday, November 12, in honor of Veterans Day, Famous Dave’s is offering all former and current military personnel a free 2 Meat Salute. The deal is for dine-in only.
Veterans can choose from two different types of meat which are served with a side and a cornbread muffin. The meat choices are as follows:

Mint Julep Experiences - Louisville
Mint Julep Experiences – Louisville is offering a “bring a vet for free” buy one get one offer on its Kentucky bourbon distillery tours in honor of Veterans Day.
Buy a gift certificate for one tour at $149 and get an additional $149 value to use on one ticket for a veteran or active military friend for free. That gift certificate can be used on any weekday (Thursday or Friday) public bourbon tour between November 11, 2018, and March 31, 2019.
This Veterans Day deal only available Nov. 9-12, 2018.
Red Lobster is offering veterans, active duty military and reservists a free appetizer or dessert on Sunday, November 11 and Monday, November 12.

Golden Corral’s Military Appreciation Night is Monday, November 12 from 5 PM to 9 PM. United States military members can receive a free “thank you” dinner when dining in at various locations.
As of 2017, Golden Corral says they have served nearly 5.4 million free meals to active duty and retired military.
Veterans and military personnel can enjoy Build Your Own Grand Slam free at Denny’s locations on November 12 from 5 AM to noon. The offer includes a choice of four delicious breakfast items such as two fluffy buttermilk pancakes, two eggs or egg whites cooked to order, two sizzling bacon or turkey bacon strips, buttermilk biscuits or hash browns.
“As America’s Diner, we take great pride in honoring our country’s servicemen and women,” John Dillon, chief marketing officer for Denny’s, said. “Each year we look forward to welcoming these heroes into our booths nationwide for a great breakfast on us, just a small way to thank them for their service and dedication to our great country.”
The offer is valid for dine-in only with a valid military ID or DD 214.
Veterans can stop by Red Robin on November 11 for a free Red’s Tavern Double Burger and Bottomless Steak Fries.
The offer is valid for all veterans and active-duty service members. Proof of service required.

Ruby Tuesday is showing its appreciation for the military by offering a free appetizer on Saturday, November 11.

Choose from Crafted Coffee flavors such as Southern Praline Latte, Goo Goo Cluster Latte, Latte, Vanilla Latte, Caramel Latte, or Mocha.
This Veterans Day, Dunkin’ is offering a free donut to veterans and active duty military on Sunday, November 11.
This year Dunkin’ and Keurig are teaming up to offer Keurig Coffee Makers and a month’s worth of Dunkin’ K-Cup pods to almost a dozen Dunkin’ franchisees nationwide who have served in the armed forces. Each of the franchisees have chosen either an individual veteran or veterans organization to donate the Keurig Coffee Maker and Dunkin’ K-Cup pods to in appreciation of their service, Dunkin said on their website.
Anyone who wants surprise a deployed military member with a shipment of Dunkin’ coffee can submit their name here. Dunkin’ will surprise some of these men and women with a case of the brand’s ground Original Blend Coffee.
Active-duty and retired military members can stop in participating Hooters restaurants for a free meal on Sunday, November 11. All veterans who present a military ID or proof of service and purchase a drink will receive a free entrée from the Hooters Veterans Day menu. This is available for dine-in only.
