Michael Myers look-alikes to take over Elizabethtown

Love the “Halloween” movies? Want the opportunity to do your best Michael Myers impression? Well, your time has come.

Night Risers Con is coming back to Elizabethtown, Kentucky for the 6th year in a row. It will be held at the Pritchard Community Center on October 27 and 28.

On Sunday, October 28 at 3 PM,  there will be an attempt to get into the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest gathering of people dressed as Michael Meyers. The official current record to beat is 250 people. Since the record is based on the total number of people wearing a full head-to-toe Michael Myers costume, participants must wear a white mask with eye holes, blue overalls, have slicked back brown hair and a prop knife. A mask with a wig attached or separate can be used. Participants will have to gather in a designated area, positioned simultaneously for around 5 minutes.

The attempt is perfectly timed this year, coinciding with new “Halloween” movie being released on October 19 and the 40th anniversary of the original movie.

Other celebrities attending this year include professional wrestler and actor Allen Ray Sarven, former WCW-WWE wrestler and actor Bishop Stevens and author Lyn Gibson.

Tickets for Night Risers Con range from $15 to $55.  Children 12 and younger are admitted free with paid adult admission. VIP passes include an exclusive event photo, an event t-shirt, access to the after party, a food ticket and more.
