Mile Wide Beer Company has announced its third annual Hops on the Hill Festival on Saturday, Aug. 3, from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m.
It all goes down at the Mile Wide Brewery & Taproom at 636 Barret Ave. in the Phoenix Hill neighborhood.
To celebrate this year’s festival, Mile Wide brewed an IPA with three well-known St. Louis breweries. Hazy Midwest Clouds, a double dry-hopped northeast-style IPA with mango and pink guava, was brewed in collaboration with Schlafly Beer, Rockwell Beer Co. and Narrow Gauge Brewing Co.
It will make its debut at HOTH on draft and in four-pack, 16-ounce cans to go. A dollar from every draft pour of Hazy Midwest Clouds will be donated to the Kentucky Humane Society.
“My business partner Kyle Tavares and I both worked at Schlafly Beer for a number of years, and in that time we got to know the good folks at both Rockwell & Narrow Gauge,” Mile Wide co-founder Scott Shreffler said. “So, Hops on the Hill is really just an excuse for us to party with some great friends. We’re super excited to welcome all of them to Mile Wide for this year’s festival.”
