A new restaurant on Frankfort Avenue promises to bring its future patrons the “ultimate brunch experience.”
Morning Fork will open its doors Friday for those wanting craft cocktails, locally-sourced ingredients and an air of Southern comfort during breakfast, brunch and lunch.
Husband and wife Geoffrey and Emily Heyde are the owners of the new Clifton spot and also run the nearby restaurant Fork & Barrel. In a press release, the pair revealed their newest creation will offer some of Fork & Barrel’s staples like the jumbo cinnamon rolls while also leaning toward more savory options like short rib eggs benedict and veggie burritos.
They are planning to open for dine-in starting Friday, Dec. 18; at full capacity, the restaurant will be able to sit 150 people. Morning Fork also boasts a large patio.
The restaurant will be open Wednesday through Sunday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Visit morningforklouisville.com for the full menu.
