Bourbon lovers listen up! As part of their year-long 150th-anniversary celebration, Old Forester’s is offering the chance to win a one-of-a-kind, immersive overnight bourbon experience. During the inaugural Old Forester’s Whiskey Row Retreat, Old Forester will treat a lucky winner plus their guest to an overnight stay in a fully furnished apartment with Old Forester inspired décor on the historic Whiskey Row in downtown Louisville, Kentucky.

The apartment is next door to Old Forester Distilling Co., the building that the brand was based in from 1882-1919 and eventually reopened as a working distillery and tour center in 2018.

Not only will the winners get to stay in the apartment on National Bourbon Day, June 14, but they would also be to see first-hand the bourbon production process and meet the people behind the iconic Old Forester’s brand. Witnessing the barrel making process, selecting a single barrel with Jackie Zykan, and custom cocktail classes are also a part of the experience.

“It’s remarkable to think that, in 1870, my great-great-grandfather, George Garvin Brown, sealed his whiskey in a glass bottle and created the first bottled bourbon and now, 150 years later, we’ve reached this milestone,” Campbell Brown, Old Forester president, said. “It’s incredible to look back and reflect on how the brand has grown while we continue to look forward and find new ways to impact the industry. Opening Whiskey Row Retreat is our opportunity to celebrate our anniversary with special guests keen on raising a glass to a wonderful bourbon.”
