The Omni Louisville Hotel opened on March 6, 2018. The 30-story building features 612 guest rooms–each with a carefully curated selection of local bourbon in the guestroom mini-bar– and suites designed with intersecting towers.

The hotel houses a Mokara signature spa, The Library Bar, Pin + Proof (a speakeasy bar with four professional bowling lanes), a local art gallery, rooftop pool deck and bar The Water Company and a bourbon retail store. For eats, there’s the highly regarded Bob’s Steak & Chop House and Falls City Market, an urban food market with grocery staples, food stations and a flower truck.

Five other Louisville hotels are currently AAA Four Diamond hotels: 21c Museum Hotel, Louisville Marriott Downtown, Marriott Louisville East, Embassy Suites Louisville Downtown and The Brown Hotel (the longest-running hotel on the list–it’s been a Four Diamond hotel since 1993).

The AAA Four Diamond Awards are given to hotels featuring high degrees of hospitality and service. Attention to detail is a must, as are extensive amenities. The properties must also have upscale physical attributes and opulent decor.  An exclusive group, Four Diamond level hotels represent just over six percent of AAA Inspected and Approved hotels. In 2019, there are 1,722.

“Four Diamond hotels provide guests with the comfort of knowing they can expect some of the highest amenities available,” said Jim Lehman, president of AAA East Central. “These establishments meet the high standards of AAA inspectors, and are committed to providing every guest with personalized experiences and attentive service.”
