Bourbon collectors and enthusiasts are invited to the Omni Louisville Hotel for the first ever Kentucky Southern Social in September. Guests will enjoy fine dining, entertainment, bourbon tastings, and auctions of rare bourbon, whiskey, and cigars at one of Louisville’s most luxurious hotels.
The Kentucky Southern Social will be held from Thursday, Sept. 16 through Saturday, Sept. 18.
The specialty events include:
- A three-course dinner menu put together by Chris Morris, the master distiller at Brown-Forman
- A speakeasy dinner hosted by Rabbit Hole Distillery’s founder Kaveh Zamanian
- A cocktail hour will be hosted by Joe Dininger of Angel’s Envy
- A horse racing event hosted by Elizabeth McCall of Woodford Reserve
There are several highlights in the Kentucky Southern Social auction, including the Peerless Double Oaked Bourbon, Old Forester Birthday Bourbon releases and various releases of Pappy Van Winkle, among others.
A number of two-night room packages will be available for guests who wish to attend the various events. They include early check-in or late check-out options, a bourbon amenity, breakfast for two, and the option to buy tickets to the Kentucky Southern Social. Auction access is included with all packages.
