Old Forester’s Paristown Hall is set to officially open its doors Tuesday in the city’s burgeoning Paristown neighborhood.

The venue is on Brent Street, near Louisville Stoneware between Barret Avenue and Broadway.

WAVE 3 was invited inside to check out the 12 million dollar concert hall, getting a look at the VIP areas and backstage artist lounge.

The venue is large, with enough capacity for 2,000 people. But the way it’s designed makes it feel much smaller.

“A common comment we heard after our first two soft opening events was as large as it is, it still feels very intimate as some of those smaller spaces so you’re getting a bigger act in a more comfortable environment,” David Glowacki, with Paristown Hall, said.

Paristown Hall officially opens Tuesday July 23, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and performances from Ben Sollee and Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue.

Tickets for the opening night show are still available and can be purchased here.
