Peerless releases first bourbon in 102 years

Kentucky Peerless Distilling Company is releasing a limited run of its first bourbon in 102 years.

The company was founded in 1889, but this year’s release will be a 4-year-old product, the first one “available without a prescription since Prohibition,” according to a statement on the distiller’s website.

The bourbon can be purchased on location at 120 N. 10th Street in downtown Louisville starting on June 22.

The distillery is open for tours Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays, the joint actually stays open until 7 p.m.
