A local drive-in is hosting a special event Friday, September 11 showing a film in remembrance of the tragic event 19 years ago.
Sauerbeck Family Drive-In in Lagrange will be showing the film “United 93” (rated R) for free Friday night.
The movie is based on the real-life events of United Flight 93 where passengers attempted to regain control of the flight after a terrorist hijacking on September 11, 2001.
Gates will open at 7:30 p.m. and the film begins at 8:30 p.m.
The drive-in has reduced capacity to allow six feet between cars for social distancing.
Friday night’s second film will be Tenet, starting at 10:30 p.m. Tickets must be purchased in order to stay for the double feature.
