Slider lovers celebrate Valentine’s Day with White Castle dinner

Forget fancy restaurants; thousands opted to celebrate their Valentine’s Day with fast-food.

Since 1991, White Castle locations have hosted a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner for couples and families with a craving for sliders. The chain starts taking reservations weeks in advance through the OpenTable app or a quick phone call to their regional offices.

White Castle said 30,000 people dined on V-Day in 2018.

“Many Cravers have shared stories with us about meeting the loves of their lives, or forming lifelong friendships at our restaurants,” Vice President Jamie Richardson said in a statement. “So we look forward to hosting this special event every year to help our fans build even more memorable moments.”

Many locations sold out for the annual romantic dinner.

Dinner comes complete with hostess seating, tableside service, festive decorations and even a custom hashtag, #LoveCastle.

Due to the popularity of the annual event, select White Castle locations have extended the festivities into February 15. Find your closest location here.
