Splashin’ Safari is ready to welcome families back to Santa Claus, Indiana!
Saturday, the Fourth of July, is the big day the water park’s gates will reopen at 50% capacity under Gov. Eric Holcomb’s advisory.
Following its addition of a first-of-its-kind water coaster, the Cheetah Chase, the Splashin’ Safari plans for bigger, better and wetter fun this summer following a delayed start of the season due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
“We’re excited to announce the newest addition to our award-winning and record-holding water coasters,” Park President Matt Eckert said. “With a first-of-its-kind flat launch and dueling features, we know this ride is going to be a hit with families, and we’re so excited to bring families here to experience the fun!”
Not only can guests check out the water rides, but right next door to the grounds it Holiday World where its Christmas all year long. To keep everyone safe and able to social distance, Holiday World and Splashin’ Safari are using a reservation system for guests waiting for rides.
On Independence Day, Holiday World is hosting a special fireworks show at 10 p.m. to show off its patriotism. The weekly fireworks show at the parks will be held on Saturdays this year instead of the usual Fridays.
Season pass holders, as always, will have special perks at the parks, including the chance to go ahead and buy a pass for next year at a special discount. Guests without season passes can purchase tickets online by clicking here.
